uTRAST (Urban Tree Risk Assessment Toolkit) is a research project funded by the “Research – Innovate” Action under the “Competitiveness 2021-2027” Programme (ESPA/NSRF). Its objective is to develop a reliable and cost-effective risk assessment system for urban trees, supported by innovative digital tools.

Risk Assessment Methodology
Development of an appropriate risk assessment methodology for urban trees, tailored to the needs of Greek cities.
Digital Tools
Development of an information system including a field recording app, interactive map, citizen mobile app, and blockchain mechanism.
Pilot Application
Risk assessment of at least 400 trees in a real urban environment, in collaboration with local authorities.
Citizen Participation
Engaging citizens through a dedicated app for reporting risks and staying informed about urban trees.
